Hello again,
The 60 day trials of EBSCO HoldingsIQ have begun. This means that your
FOLIO eHoldings app should now reflect your EBSCO Holdings Management
setup. You can select/unselect packages/titles in eHoldings and they will
be selected/unselected in Holdings Management. This integration goes both
ways so you're welcome to use whichever interface you prefer. Additionally,
you can now link e-resources to agreements via agreement lines (maybe not
relevant to some libraries at this point). Please test things out when you
have time.
*Warning:* Although the eHoldings app is in your sandbox FOLIO site it's
connected to your *production EBSCO Holdings Management*. If you experiment
with selecting/unselecting holdings just be aware of that.

Hello everyone,
This is a friendly reminder that your circulation rules spreadsheets should
be completed by the end of the day *Friday, March 14th* so that we can move
forward with your circ load in FOLIO.
Please let me know if you have any questions about filling out the
spreadsheet.
Regards,
Jenn

Good morning all,
New England Conservatory library's CORAL ERM (resources, organizations, and
licenses) data has been loaded into the NEC sandbox. Unlike the inventory
load we do a full export/load for the ERM review period since there are
fewer records to deal with. Please take the next two weeks to review your
data as it appears in FOLIO and let us know if there are any issues or
adjustments needed.
Please submit all issues/changes to the issue tracker linked below by *Friday,
March 14th*.

Coming up next, I'm anticipating the loading of Lesley University library's
ERM data as well as full loads of everyone's inventory data. Thank you for
your patience and hard work.

Hello all,
Based on my email poll last week, the week that would work best for all
libraries was March 31st - April 4th. Now we need to decide which time
slots will work the best. We'll be breaking up the training into 3 hour
chunks with plenty of time for hands-on exercises and questions. All
training sessions are recorded.
*Training Doodle: *https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/aKz3oxRe
Please respond to this Doodle by the end of next week, *Friday, March 14th*
.
Basic training outline:
- Day 1 - FOLIO basics, Inventory and VuFind searching and record
structure
- Day 2 - Users app, circulation apps, requesting (in FOLIO and VuFind)
- Day 3 - Fees/fines, courses/course reserves, reporting & statistics
- Day 4 - Cataloging (Inventory app), Bulk Edit app, Data Import/Export
apps, MARCAuthority
- Day 5 - ERM and Acquisitions
In addition to the week long Zoom training, FLO provides a series of
asynchronous training units on our members' website for you to go through
at any time. The units are split up based on app/focus area and you're
welcome to jump around to whichever ones are most helpful for your
position. I recommend going through this training prior to attending the
"live" training, as time permits.

Good morning,
As of today Index Data has finished loading all 5 libraries' entire catalogs
into their respective sandboxes. This will allow you to review any records
that may have been missing from the sample load. Although the inventory review
period is over, you're still welcome to use the issue tracker to report any
problems you spot.
Reminders:
- This is just a snapshot of your data. We will reload your data during
the April dry run and right before your go-live date into your production
FOLIO instance so that we capture any changes made after the current export.
- If you want to clean up your data, please do so in Voyager/Sierra at
this point. Please do not edit records in FOLIO that have been loaded by
us (it's okay to edit any test records you've created). This goes for ERM
too. Changes you make in your sandbox will not come over to production and
I don't want anyone's hard work to be for nothing!
- Now that the full inventory load is done we will be loading circulation
data soon. I will make an announcement when that's ready to be reviewed.
Your VuFind sandbox is also very close to being ready.

Good morning all,
I'd like to get the FOLIO/VuFind training on the calendar as soon as
possible before everyone's schedules get filled in. We need to pick one
week where we can meet daily (2-3 hour Zoom calls). These are the potential
weeks:
1. March 31st - April 4th
2. April 7th - April 11th
3. April 22nd-25th (not ideal due to Patriots' Day)
4. May 5th-May 9th
*If I could hear from all 5 libraries on which week works best, I'd
appreciate it. *The plan is to pick a winning week and then I'll send out a
Doodle poll so we can schedule the sessions. We'll be going from FOLIO
basics in the beginning of the week to more advanced topics like cataloging
and acquisitions at the end of the week. Staff are welcome to skip sessions
irrelevant to them.
Please respond with your library's preferred week by next *Friday, March
7th.*

Hello all,
I just wanted to recap the FOLIO lost statuses discussion and send you the
reports I mentioned in core team.
- Lost -- System Applied (Aged to Lost) - Any Voyager item that is in
this status and NOT checked out will be checked out to a dummy patron.
Items that are in this status and checked out will migrate normally with
the actual checkout. FOLIO requires an item to be checked out to trigger
this status.
- Lost -- Library Applied (Declared Lost) - Any Voyager item that is in
this status and checked out will have its status changed from "library
applied" to "system applied." We will also add a note to preserve the date
the item was marked lost. FOLIO won't let us check out an item in the
"Declared Lost" status so we need to change it to "Aged to Lost" to
preserve the check out.
(FOLIO has a third lost status (Lost and Paid) but it's not relevant to
this discussion and will only be used after the migration is over).
Linked below are reports of all items that are in the status "Lost --
System Applied" but not checked out. If no changes are made, these will be
checked out to a dummy patron to preserve their lost status. As stated
above, FOLIO requires an item to be checked out to trigger this status.

Hello all,
Friendly reminder that today is the deadline to submit issues/changes for
your inventory load to the issue tracker (linked below) for *Lesley,
MassArt and the MFA*. We will be monitoring the tracker for new submissions
until the end of office hours (5pm) today.
Also, for all migrating libraries, please note that I will be out of office
all next week (2/17-2/21). If you have any migration related questions,
please reach out to the FLO helpdesk email (helpdesk(a)flo.libanswers.com)
and the appropriate person will grab your ticket. Of course you can
continue to communicate via Google Sheets comments as well.
