Good afternoon everyone,
As I said at the end of our kick-off, one of the next steps in the
migration will be to go over MFHD (holdings) and item data. The people you
send to this meeting might be different from those you sent to the patron
mapping meeting. Usually catalogers/tech services staff should be in
attendance. *Please respond to the Doodle below with your availability by
next Thursday, October 17th.* I'm using one Doodle for all four libraries,
but we'll be meeting separately. I'm hoping to get the schedule out there
earlier this time in case we have any Monday meetings. Thank you!

Also, if you haven't had the chance yet, today is the *final day* to
respond to the kick-off survey. We'll be summarizing everyone's responses
to this survey on Thursday. Its main purpose is to gauge how everyone is
feeling about the migration and what their expectations/concerns are for
the new system. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to respond
already!

Hi again,
As part of this week's kick-off we'd love to hear from all staff about your
thoughts on the upcoming migration. Your feedback will help the migration
team (FLO and Index Data) understand where your priorities are and how to
best help you through this transition. Please respond to the survey by
tomorrow *Tuesday, October 8th*. We'll be giving a summary of everyone's
responses during the kick-off, but keeping them anonymous.

*Note: *all staff are welcome to fill out this survey whether they'll be
attending the kick-off or not, please feel free to forward to any staff who
will be impacted by the migration. Thank you for your time!

Hello all,
I need every library to let me know what they'd like their URL to be for
FOLIO. Everyone will be getting a sandbox/test site and a production site.
This is just for staff to use, not front facing. The syntax looks like this:
- *Sandbox:* https://xxxx-test.folio.indexdata.com/
- *Production:* https://xxxx.folio.indexdata.com/
Please let me know what you'd like to use for the first part of the URL.
You're welcome to spell things out (Example:
https://berklee-test.folio.indexdata.com/) or use an abbreviation (Example:
https://wit-test.folio.indexdata.com/). Whatever makes sense for your
institution is fine.
I'm still waiting to hear from the following institutions:
- New England Conservatory
- Stonehill College
If I could hear from every library by tomorrow (10/8), that would be great.
Thank you!

Good afternoon,
Thank you to everyone who responded to my Doodle for the patron data
mapping meetings.
I've sent out Google Calendar invites to all respondents. Here is the
schedule:
- Wed, Oct 2 (11am) - Lesley
- Fri, Oct 4 (2pm) - MFA
- Tues, Oct 8 (2pm) - MassArt
- Wed, Oct 9 (2pm) - New England Conservatory
- Fri, Oct 11 (2pm) - Stonehill
If any library needs to change their meeting date, please let me know! We
have plenty of flexibility at this point in the migration. Unfortunately
some of these are pretty short notice.
Please see links to your mapping spreadsheets below and in the Google Cal
invite. If you have any questions/concerns before your meeting or need
assistance accessing any resources, please don't hesitate to ask!
Finally, if you have time to review your spreadsheet before your meeting, I
would appreciate it, but if not, that's fine too. Thank you to those who
have already begun filling things out! :)
