Hello everyone,
Based on your poll responses, ReShare training will be *Tuesday, July 1,
2025 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm*. I will send out the Zoom meeting details closer
to the training date.
We are planning that the 2025 Cohort libraries, including Berklee, will be
able to access their ReShare systems and begin borrowing and lending in
ReShare by *July 28, 2025. *
If you do not want to begin borrowing/lending in ReShare on July 28th (for
example, if staff will be on vacation), please let me know and we can
discuss what date you would like to begin participating in ReShare.

Hello all,
Happy Friday! Today is the last day of office hours for LES, MCA, and the
MFA library. Next week they will be entering the "post go-live stage" and
we'll move onto focusing on integrations and regular systems support.
Meanwhile, the New England Conservatory library goes live on Monday, June
16th! They will be our final library to leave Voyager, the end of an era
for FLO. All of next week we'll hold office hours for NEC staff just as
we've done for the previous groups. Here's hoping for a seamless transition!
Note: We will be shutting down the Voyager OPAC on Monday to coincide with
NEC's go-live. The old URL will redirect patrons to the new shared OPAC
(VuFind). We'll be working towards getting all remaining libraries'
holdings into the new shared OPAC this summer.

Good afternoon all,
As go-live week continues for some (and post go-live begins for Stonehill),
I thought I would give you some reminders/PSAs as you settle into your new
systems. The following will also apply to NEC staff next week.:
- All live libraries should be able to access the FLO reporting
environment <https://reports.flo.org/#/> to run/write SQL queries. You
can query your sandox and/or your production FOLIOs. I sent out credentials
back in May that should still work. If you've lost your login info, please
let me know.

- If you haven't already done so, please configure your library's
calendar(s) at Settings app > Calendar. You need to have an accurate
calendar if you want due dates to be calculated correctly at checkout (ex.
due dates aren't assigned to a day you're closed). If you have long loan
periods, you'll want to set up enough calendars to account for that (i.e.
multiple terms/semesters). A checkout will fail if its due date falls
outside existing calendars (ex. a due date in 2026 but your calendar ends
in 2025).
- If you run into any issues with FOLIO or VuFind post go-live, please
report it to our helpdesk <https://flo.libanswers.com/> (
helpdesk(a)flo.libanswers.com) not to the issue trackers (those are only
to be used during the migration). This is the best way to get your
questions answered the fastest and by the right person (the entire FLO
staff is notified every time you submit a ticket).
If you have any questions about any of the above, please let me know. We
also have a Core Team meeting scheduled for next Friday as well as office
hours if you prefer asking over Zoom.

Thank you to Lesley, MassArt, and MFA library staff for your patience and
help this week as we reach the final stage of your migrations. This coming
Monday, June 9th will be go-live for all 3 libraries! Meanwhile, we will
also be doing the New England Conservatory's final data migration next week
in anticipation of their June 16th go-live.

Next week FLO will be holding office hours on Zoom and library staff are
welcome to hop on during the allotted times (also viewable here

*For NEC:*
Next week will be your data freeze (June 9th-June 15th)! Please do not
edit/delete/add any bibs/holdings/items/users/or ERM data during the
freeze. After we have exported your data from Voyager/CORAL, no changes
made in your legacy systems will be migrated. Circulation must be tracked
offline (most use a spreadsheet).
Note: We will be loading your data directly from Voyager to the production
system. In other words, if you add anything to your FOLIO sandbox manually
at this point it will not come over to your production system. Index Data will
be copying over everything in the Settings app from sandbox to prod, so all
of the configurations FLO has set up there (locations, notices, user
groups, etc.) will come over. Please don't touch the Settings app in either
system until after go-live. Thank you!

Good afternoon all,
Here is your nightly migration update:
- MFA - Data migration complete, staff have been sent password reset
emails to log in
- Lesley - Data migration complete, staff waiting on IT in order to use
SSO to log in (if we can't get SSO working by tomorrow, I can provide
alternate logins)
- MassArt - FLO still working on users, checkouts and fines. Staff
accounts ready to go for when we're done (should be tomorrow).
For staff that have already logged in to FOLIO, please feel free to do some
last minute reviewing of your data if you have the time. You can also begin
to add the following to the Settings app:
- Circulation calendar(s) - The calendar will be important for
circulation (FOLIO will take into account your open hours when calculating
due dates). FLO added in a fake calendar so we could load your circ
data. Feel free to overwrite it with your actual information. Most
libraries make a new calendar for each semester (ex. spring 2025 calendar
).
- User block criteria (conditions and limits) - These are set up by
patron group and you can decide what triggers a block and to what extent a
user is blocked.
- Course terms/departments (if using FOLIO/VuFind for course reserves)
We covered these misc. go-live settings in the last core team meeting if
you need further guidance.

Please *do not* proceed with circulation and cataloging until your go-live
date (Monday, June 9th)! Index Data needs to get Metadb working for all 3
libraries which usually takes several (weekend) days. Metadb is the
reporting database behind FOLIO. Until Metadb is up and running it's not
recommended that you begin your usual workflows because your activities
won't be recorded in the database.
